Christoph Waltz and Jamie Foxx arrive in town in "Django Unchained."
Life, liberty and the pursuit of vengeance -- just in time for Christmas.
"Django Unchained" is the new film from writer-director Quentin Tarantino. Check out the trailer that's just been released for what looks like a Western, but which Tarantino has described as a "Southern."
Imagine Jamie Foxx as a slave named Django in the old South, Christoph Waltz (the Oscar winner from Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds") as a bounty hunter who makes a deal with Django to gain both of them revenge, and you've got a movie.
Look for Leonardo DiCaprio as the wealthy plantation owner/slaveholder here. With both "Django Unchained" and "The Great Gatsby" scheduled for Christmas Day, that's a lot of DiCaprio for the holidays.
Look for lots of violence, too, like the image here of shootouts that end with blood sprays coloring the snow-white cotton in the field. That's some Tarantino imagery.
