So, recently the kids in California band HOTT MT (Hour of the Time, Majesty Twelve) drove all the way to Oklahoma City on a whim. They found Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne's home and stopped by to wish him a happy birthday.

Coyne invited them in. They stayed. They didn't kill him.

In fact, they recorded a spur-of-the-moment song together. (Also, on guitar is Oklahoma City musician Leon Manson. For real.)
