Personalities from the History Channel show "Swamp People" will be at the Tulsa Boat Sport and Travel Show Friday and Saturday. The show runs Monday through Sunday.

The weather is playing tricks on us. We're supposed to be in the doldrums of the dead of winter, but instead we've been at the park, working in the garden and even having coffee on the patio.

Even in the winter, there's plenty to see at the zoo, including the giraffes, monkeys and penguins. Indoor exhibits include the rainforest and Arctic Tundra.

Tuesday: Elvis tributeElvis fans, check out this live show, "Elvis Lives! The Ultimate Tribute Artists Tour," at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center. It's a full production, with a live band, dancers and back-up singers.

Wednesday: Pop-Up Shops' grand reopeningThe pop-up shops in the downtown Deco District aren't going anywhere. The shops, which were set up temporarily for holiday shopping, have been so popular that half of them will stick around. Those shops include Indie Emporium, Bison and Bear, Hood Design, Earthly Delights and Candy Castle.
When: Hours will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, with the grand reopening on Wednesday

Thursday: Boat showThe Tulsa Boat Sport and Travel Show starts Monday evening with a preview night, but there are plenty of opportunities to check out this popular show, which runs through Sunday. Of course, the big draw is a chance to look at and climb into boats, including everything from small fishing boats to luxury yachts. Beyond boats, the show includes cooking demos and exhibits. Friday: Dance at the DepotIt's Dance at the Depot, a fun night out of music and dancing at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. The setting is a classic 1950s dance hall style, complete with a wooden dance floor to show off your best moves. The music can't be beat, with vocals from Cindy Cain, Rebecca Ungerman and Pam Van Dyke Crosby and a four-piece band. Swing, waltz, rhumba or two-step all night long.

Saturday: Big Freeze Run/WalkHere's a cure for cabin fever: Get out and run. The Big Freeze 5k Run/Walk is the antidote to winter. Organizers say the idea is to gather as many people who are crazy enough to get out in the cold to run or walk around 3.2 miles of LaFortune Park.
When: Registration at 7 a.m. 5k begins at 8 a.m. and fun run/walk begins at 8:30 a.m.

Cost: Registration is $25 for adults and $5 for kids age 12 and younger.
