The expanded Cherry Street Farmers Market has an ever-growing number of vendors, and with the spring weather, a new batch of crops and products each week.
Here's what you can look for at Saturday's market. The market is open from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturdays at 15th Street and Peoria Avenue.
Vegetables: arugula, asparagus, chard, garlic, greens, herbs, lettuce, mushrooms (shiitake, maitake and oysters), onions, radishes, spinach, turnips, broccoli rabe, bok choy
Fruit: strawberries
Animal products: eggs, lamb, pork, llama fiber, Oklahoma honey and hand-dyed yarns from several Oklahoma farms will be debuted in the Clear Creek Lavender/Lost City Knits booth
Prepared foods: breads, salsa, spices/condiments, dips, kombucha tea, pastries, hummus, anti pasta
Plants: cut flowers, tomato plants, assorted herbs, pepper plants and beautiful hanging baskets, veggie seedlings, potted plants, water garden plants, lavender plants
Body care: soaps, powders, lotions, bath salts, lip balm, rubs, dog products, lavender gift box sets from Clear Creek Lavendar. Three Pea's is running a special - Mother's Day free gift with any $30 purchase.
