Whispering Vines Vineyards & Winery, 7374 W. 51st St., is among 57 winemakers, according to the ABLE Commission. STEPHEN PINGRY/Tulsa World

On fall Friday nights when my parents would go watch my brother play high school football, I'd sometimes stay with my Mamaw and Papaw Wright.

Those were the nights "Dallas" would come on, followed by "Falcon Crest," which was kinda like "Dallas," just with grapes. Loved that show.

So when I went driving around looking for a particular winery recently with a couple of friends, I couldn't help but have the "Falcon Crest" theme blaring in my head.

As you may read in my Sunday story on Oklahoma wineries, 57 winemakers can be found in the Sooner State, according to the ABLE Commission. Several are near Tulsa.

I only had space to write about a handful, so I may have missed your favorite winery -- or one that you actually own, for that matter. If that's the case, let me and other readers know what and where it is in the comments below (and suggest the best wine they make, too, please).

Peace, love and "Dallas" with grapes ... XOXO
