Who wants to be an extra in “Thunderstruck,” which is filming next week in Oklahoma City?
"Thunderstruck" is a comedy that finds Durant magically switching talent with an inept 14-year-old fan — while the NBA star can’t shoot a lick.
Those interested in playing fans at an imaginary home game or neighbors in street scenes or passersby must email a submission to the production no later than Sunday.
Potential extras must email a recent photo and contact information to the casting office at Submissions@FreihoferCasting.com, with the photo attached to the email that also includes name, city of residence, all phone numbers and email addresses. The email’s subject heading should be THUNDERSTRUCK EXTRAS (then fill in day or days of availability).
The deadline is noon Sunday, and those selected as extras will be contacted by phone or email by the Freihofer casting office.
“Thunderstruck” is shooting Monday through Wednesday in Oklahoma City.
On Tuesday, 500 extras will play Oklahoma City Thunder fans at a game.
On Monday and Wednesday, extras will portray neighbors and passersby, according to a press release from the Oklahoma Film & Music Office.
Those between the ages of 11 to 70 of both genders are asked to apply, and entire families are welcome for these shoots.
Extras must be available for an entire day of shooting from early afternoon into the evening. Extras will be paid $7.50 per hour, with a four-hour guaranteed minimum, and extras also have the chance to win autographed Thunder gear, the press release said.
