The series centers around a hitman who is hired for the crime family that killed his wife to hunt down his estranged daughter who is bent on destroying those responsible for her mother's death.
"Hurt People" marks Petersen's first acting role since his departure from the CBS hit "CSI" two years ago. He stars in the theatrical film "Detachment" opposite Adrien Brody.
