Fast forward, then, to Tuesday evening. The Sooners piped in "Wake Up the Echoes" throughout practice. And while it's routine for them to play the opposing team's fight song to help prep for road games, you couldn't help but notice something center Gabe Ikard said after practice concluded:
"Today was probably our toughest practice of the season."
