No, that isn't a summer snowfall.
The Associated Press reports delayed and canceled flights in Denver from hail damage overnight.
It's not just a matter of clearing the estimated 0.75 of an inch of hail away however, but also evaluated hail-damaged planes, airport spokeswoman Laura Coale told the Associated Press.
In Wyoming, the Associated Press reports golfball-size hail in Cheyenne, which is expected to cost "tens of millions," according to the insurance industry.
Damage estimates were reportedly so high partly because Tuesday's storm hit during rush hour when so many cars were on the road or in parking lots.
If you ever track National Weather Service stats and wonder where the hail is, check under "snow." This is why Tulsa reportedly had "trace amounts" of snow on April 23 this year. It was actually hail.
