And here is how I voted:
1. Duke
2. Michigan
3. Arizona
4. Louisville
5. Indiana
6. Kansas
7. Syracuse
8. Minnesota
9. Gonzaga
10. Missouri
11. Ohio State
12. Florida
13. Illinois
14. Creighton
15. Butler
16. Cincinnati
17. Georgetown
18. San Diego State
19. Michigan State
20. Notre Dame
21. Kansas State
22. N.C. State
23. Wichita State
24. VCU
25. Marquette
The top 10 was pretty easy to settle on, but it got tricky from there. Eight ranked teams lost, plus Oklahoma State and Pittsburgh twice stumbled. With those two being in the bottom five, multiple losses had to drop them out.
I definitely waffled the most this season on spots 20-25. I initially had Maryland and Wyoming in but decided they haven't played enough tough opponent and left them out in favor of Wichita State and Marquette. I also strongly considered UNLV, which wound up at No. 24 in the poll. And I'm keeping an eye on UCLA, which has won seven straight since a 5-3 start.
Here are a few games this week that will shake things up:
No. 8 Minnesota at No. 12 Illinois, 7 p.m. Wednesday
No. 8 Minnesota at No. 5 Indiana, 10 a.m. Saturday
No. 1 Duke at No. 20 N.C. State, 10 a.m. Saturday
No. 2 Michigan at No. 15 Ohio State, 11:30 a.m. Sunday
