Not a very good week for ex-OU coaches, was it.

Chuck "Third and" Long is shut out at home.

Leach scores three in a loss at TCU and was lucky to get it.

Mangino loses to a team where they pull up aluminum lawn chairs at the games.

And this week, Stoops Extra Strength, Mike, plays USC.

Quadruple ouch.

Mangino just got a contract extension.

Anybody know why?

Is Extra Strength Stoops fixing to feel some Arizona heat?

Coach Mangino received an extension because he is putting the concept of "Student" back into the term "Student Athlete." I anticipate that Kansas will join the Ivy League in the next year or two and be very competitive from the outset. Don't be surprised if Oklahoma State doesn't explore that possibility as this would bring credibility to their Dexter Manley School of Letters.
