The build up to this game very much reminds me of the Florida State vs. Oklahoma game. Some points to consider.
(1) The media has mostly written Oklahoma off.
(2) The Florida players are extremely confident and are talking their game in the media. It seems they are making the same fatal mistake Florida State did . . . believing everything being written about the Gators.
(3) The Gators seem to have an huge sense of false security. They believe their defense will shut down Oklahoma. The gators (and media) base it on their defensive stats. However, SEC opponents offenses are not nearly as powerful as Big-12 offenses across the board. By the same measure, the Sooner defense appears weaker on paper. Again, when you take into consideration the high powered offenses in the Big-12 it makes sense.
(4) Oklahoma has taken an all business approach to this game.
(5) The Sooners know what is being said about them and it only serves as more emotional fire for the team when they take the field.
I believe the Oklahoma Sooners will win this one.
