All Day -- at least in the second half

Most everyone remembers that when the Sooners hung on to beat Tulsa 31-15 in 2005, they did so without throwing a pass in the second half.
They did try, though.
After Rhett Bomar was sacked twice on OU's first possession of the third quarter (he fumbled once, but recovered it himself), Bob Stoops apparently put his foot down and told then-offensive coordinator Chuck Long to chuck the passing plays and stick to the Adrian Peterson plays.
Following that miserable opening drive, Cody Freeby boomed a 70-yard kick, and Tulsa responded with a field goal that put the Golden Hurricane up 9-7.
Here's how OU's next four possessions unfolded:
Peterson 42-yard run,
Peterson 6-yard run,
Peterson 2-yard run,
Peterson 7-yard run,
Peterson 1-yard run, touchdown.
Peterson 23-yard run,
Peterson 2-yard run,
Kejuan Jones 10-yard run,
Peterson 4-yard run,
Bomar minus-1-yard run, fumble, recovered by Peterson,
Jones 4-yard run,
Garrett Hartley 29-yard field goal.
Peterson 5-yard run,
Peterson 6-yard run,
Peterson 1-yard run,
Peterson no gain,
Bomar 15-yard run,
Peterson 5-yard run,
Peterson 9-yard run,
Peterson 7-yard run,
Peterson 12-yard run,
Peterson no gain, fumble, recovered by Travis Wilson,
Peterson 41-yard run, touchdown.
Jones no gain,
Jones loss of 4,
Jones 3-yard run,
Freeby 57-yard punt.
Bomar was 5-of-13 for 42 yards and threw two interceptions in the first half. Peterson had 18 carries for 174 yards in the second half. In all, Peterson rushed for 220 yards and gained 237 of OU's 269 yards of total offense.
Pretty good coaching.
