Here is the Olympics update.
The basketball action has proved the following:
LeBron is light years the best player in the NBA. He simply doesn't know quite how to speak humbly. But nobody currently playing can carry his headband box.
Durant stands around waiting to shoot threes too much. He needs to learn how to post up and score from the inside. Without changes, there's no way OKC wins the title.
Kevin Love looks nervous.
Westbrook is as always a wild man, capable of going 25 for 30 from the field one night, 2 for 30 the next night.
Coach K subs like Coach Zzzzzz. Play the best five the most minutes.
The Americans can't play a lick of defense.
Harden deserves more playing time.
Kobe looks to be 58 years of age.
In more Olympic news: Somebody said the great Al Michaels was doing coverage during the day. What a waste of skill.
Serena should have driven Miss Beauty Queen Sharapova into retirement. Sharapova's taste was in question when she had no-talent Chelsea Handler in her courtside box seats.
Roger Frauderer is not the best ever in tennis. The best ever can't run around an average backhand like a sissy.
The men's USA gymnastic team has been an all-time flop. They owe the viewing audience an apology.
In TV news: Breaking Bad is too unpleasant.
In football news: Believe it or not, the famous Picker Versus Everybody Else picking contest is only a few weeks off. Each week we have a picking contest against the point spread, the winner getting a world-class prize, plus glory. We also answer questions like:
Is the fact that OSU and TU are saying they are focusing on defense another way of saying their offenses are apt to stink?
Has Stoops lost it?
In less than a month you will have those answers. And much more.

Yep, Durant needs to show more aggressiveness. A great outside shooter whose 6’11” w/ no inside game. Until he learns to pound da’ ball inside, Blunders will never win the NBA title.
After Serena, women’s tennis is in a free for all of who can & will take over the top spot.
Tennis is so competitive that after a player reaches 30, players like Roger the Dodger can be brought down quickly, But make no mistake, Frauder has 17 major titles, appeared in 24 Men’s Grand slam finals, those are records that’ll stand for a long time.
The totally pro American Olympic coverage is tainted by to many “human interest stories” & over analyzing, too much commentary, never shut up announcers. Can’t we watch one event w/out announcer droll dialogue????
Underrated & loaded w/ a formidable running games, OSU & TU’s “D” could help both teams reach the 10 win plateau. OU’s rash of offensive line injuries won’t get ‘expose until the Texas game. By November, Stoops & co. might need a Mash unit to repair what’s left.

OU's going to have a long season, its sad they have had such issues.

But hey!!! They're picked #4. Explain that contradiction.
