Annika is too much

There are so many similarities between Annika Sorenstam and Tiger Woods.
It is ironic that they are dominating their sport at the same time.
It does make it easy to compare the two. Tiger has 11 majors. Annika has nine.
Tiger has closed the season on a tear, winning his last five tournaments including two majors.
Annika has won her last two tournaments and is looking for a third straight this weekend in Tulsa.
Both are not only great players but understand the celebrity associated with being the best in the world at something.
Annika, just like Tiger, knows the media is going to want to talk with her just about every day regardless of what she does.
When she does something like she did on Friday at Cedar Ridge Country Club, which is throw up a 7-under-par for the first round lead at the John Q. Hammons Hotel Classic, she understands what needs to be said.
She has been in this position so many times that she is able to make her routine almost a habit. She comes to the media room, says the right thing, then heads out to the range to work on her game.
She'll be tough to catch this week. She's great from behind, as she showed last week when she shot a 10-under in the final round to win the State Farm Classic.
And, she's great from in front. She's won the last two LPGA tournaments in Tulsa by coming from behind. Now, she'll have the lead heading into the weekend.
She's making history on the LPGA Tour. She may be the most recognizable female athlete in the world right now.
That makes her weekend, as he goes for yet another weekend, an event for Tulsa.
