Another Sad Sutton Story
Published: 2/13/2010 12:59 PM

Sean Sutton's arrest is just the latest in a long line of sad stories for the Sutton family in recent years.
Sutton is alleged to have broken drug laws.
The facts in dispute will be settled in a court of law.
However, not in dispute is how sad this is for one of the state's most famous athletic families.
The Suttons have long been associated with excellence in basketball. Eddie Sutton's record as a collegiate coach is probably second only to Hank Iba in state basketball history.
However, Eddie Sutton's reputation and career have been soiled by an ugly end to his career, started with a drunken driving incident four years ago.
That, ironically, would seem to be when Sean Sutton's career and reputation also took a turn for the worse.
Certainly, some of this sad story is self-inflicted by the Suttons.
That does not lessen our hopes and prayers for this family.

Sean Sutton was adopted, consequently he was not predisposed to become a druggie.

WHAT? That's one of the most ludicrous statements that I've read in a long time. And, Raider35, you are apparently one step ahead of the rest of us by having complete knowledge of Sean's biological parents and their proclivities? Please, unless you know from where you speak, keep your ridiculous opinions to yourself.

"have broke?" "SOME" of this sad story is self-inflicted?
