Another four-star triumph in Texas

Entering the 2008 season, Oklahoma State should have the ideal situation at the quarterback position -- a fifth-year senior (Bobby Reid), a fourth-year junior (Zac Robinson) and a third-year sophomore (Alex Cate).
The '08 depth chart also could include an apparently talented rookie. Kody Spano, a 6-1, 199-pound QB from Stephenville, Texas, has announced his commitment to the Cowboys.
As a Stephenville junior last season, Spano passed for 2,882 yards and 31 TDs. He rushed for 462 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Scout.com's highest rating is a five-star designation, and Spano is rated as a four-star quarterback.
OSU continues to strengthen its recruiting presence in Texas. Of seven four-star recruits in the Cowboys' 2006-07 class, four -- defensive end Richetti Jones, cornerback William Cole and wide receivers Dez Bryant and Damian Davis -- hail from Texas.
