Just for fun, I asked people on Facebook for nominations on who should be Bob Barry's replacement as the new play-by-play announcer for University of Oklahoma football and basketball games.

Here are a few of the names that got dropped, including some for comedic effect (you decide which).

Dean Blevins.
Bob Barry, Jr.
Chuck Cooperstein.
James Hale.
Bob Carpenter.
John Brooks.
Mike Steely's fictional radio uncle.
Bill Huddleston.
Charo (enunciating Hootchie-Cootchie is approximately the same task as enunciating Chijioke Onyenegecha).
Mini-Me.
Ron Thulin.
Chris Lincoln.
Ruben Diaz.
Mark Rodgers.

In all seriousness, if the decision was up to me, I would target University of Tulsa broadcaster Bruce Howard, a pro's pro who doesn't need a job but is worthy of offers.

It is OU you are talking about. So you need someone that can talk on a very low level in order for OU fans to understand.
