Art Briles is a funny guy

IRVING, Texas -- They say you have to have a sense of humor to coach football at Baylor. Art Briles, the Bears' second-year man, qualifies.
His opening statement to a ballroom full of print reporters from Big 12 Media Days this morning: "Good to see everybody out. Used up all my good stuff in previous ones, but we'll get through this."
The first question came from John Werner, the Waco Tribune-Heraldo beat reporter. But before Werner could blurt it out, Briles interrupted with: "This had better be easy, John. I know where you live."
Later in the session, Dwain Price of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram had something to ask. But not before Briles had something to interject: "How are you doing, Dwain? You're conservatively dressed today for your standards. I'll give you that. You usually throw a little silk at me."
