BCS championship: Who do you have?

Can we please have a moment of silence for the end of the college football season.

Ok, with that out of the way, who do you have in tonight's Alabama-Notre Dame BCS championship game?

I've heard some SEC folks talking blowout for the last month, but I just don't buy it.

Unless one of these teams losses the turnover margin by four-plus, I would expect a close game.

Last year's 21-0 win by Alabama over LSU in the BCS championship was as big a blowout as you could possibly have. But in a game between two defensive teams where the turnover margin was just plus-two for Alabama, it was still a two-possession game midway through the fourth quarter.

I had Alabama 24-17 for our pick panel, and I'll stay with that.

I think Alabama is a little better, but a Notre Dame victory wouldn't shock me in the least.

Enjoy the last college football game until next fall.

Well I hate Notre Dame, always have and always will. I once thought Alabama was OK but that ended when Nick Saban became their coach. So I'm going to watch Antiques Roadshow and Market Warriors and hope for a tie and overtime to infinity.
Nice. I'm a Notre Dame hater from way back. Something about going to a Catholic high school.
