Bedlam: Does OSU have more weapons?

Something to think about in the aftermath of Oklahoma State’s Big 12 Tournament upset of Oklahoma:
Way back before a Bedlam game in Stillwater, Obi Muonelo was quoted as saying that OSU has more weapons than OU.
At the time, it would have been tough to find corroboration for Muonelo’s statement. After all, OU beat OSU in Stillwater in 2008 even though Blake Griffin did not play due to injury. Griffin’s supporting cast was better than the Cowboys.
OU swept two regular season meetings from OSU this year.
But Muonelo stood by his words after the Cowboys won a Bedlam three-match Thursday night.
Griffin is Bedlam’s alpha male. But Muonelo said OSU has more players who can put up big numbers, if necessary. Four different Cowboys have cracked the 27-point barrier at least once this season and Keiton Page has scored as many as 21.
OU players other than Griffin, including Taylor Griffin, Austin Johnson and Tony Crocker, have had big games against OSU in the past. But the Sooners shot 3-of-19 from 3-point range on a Thursday night when Blake Griffin got only nine shots.
Does that prove Muonelo correct?

You don't have to be an expert on the sport to realize that without the Griffins, Oklahoma State is just a better team.

Additionally, J. Tramel--you're my favorite. Keep up the good work.

Yep! Obi's right! OSU generally has 5 shooters on the floor at any given time who are big time players. Willie Warren is about the only other bright spot on OU's team besides the neanderthal, Blake Griffin.

The loss at Stillwater (wo Griffin) was a crime. It showed how "down" OSU was. OU didn't have better players than OSU and it was a shocker that OU won.
