Which is the best basketball team in the state?

Could be OU.

Could be OSU.

Who is the best coach?

Could be Travis Ford.

Could be Jeff Capel.

Tell you next week.

Picker, what a prognostication this is! What happens if both OU and OSU make it thru to the Sweet 16??? Will you tell us in TWO weeks who the better team is?

Really? You're going to tell us who's the better coach based on ridiculously unfair next round match-ups? OSU plays #1 seed Pitt and OU plays #10 seed Michigan...yeah, great balance there.

By the way, you picked falsely against OSU today but I don't imagine you will be mentioning that anywhere in your posts will you, Pick?

Also, didn't you already declare Travis Ford as the best coach this year in the Big 12? Does that not also make him the best in the state?

IF the criteria is "who does more w/ less?" than its easily, Scott Sutton. Otherwise, Travis Ford has gotten a lot of mileage out of a group of players that had never been 2 the NCAA.

I've always thought it should be "who does more with less" as a determinant particularly after watching the "Great Coach K" fail to get in the Final Four much less the national title year after year and practically having the pick of any basketball player in the country.John Wooden was a great coach who knew how to take the best players and win consistently with them. In Ok? Hard to go with Sutton since ORU rarely plays much less knocks off big time programs and Wojo doesn't beat the biggies either. Ford and Capel are both good coaches, but this year it's Ford.

Must have been in a hurry to write such a post without merit.
