OU at OSU is a toss-up because one, OU has few great players back, and two, the quarterback has a tendency to throw the ball all over the place.

I was generous with TU -- most toss-ups probably lean the other ways. Has the TU big two sports been in worse shape in recent memory?

We don't really know who OU's quarterback is yet.

Arby with cheese, it's the one who threw a couple up the exit ramp.....

I hate to agree with the picker on this one, but I agree. OSU is doing well replacing players if we end up 7-5. We have 1 linebacker returning who we aren't even sure if he is back to 100%. We lost a first-round corner, half our starting D-line, as well as some losses from the rest of the two-deep. Surely Bill Young will get the most out of these players, but Texas' replacement QB looks pretty good as does A&M's returning QB. Beyond that, I don't see us beating NU (we only have a chance because it's at home). They will be a nightmare for a rebuilding O-line (which might be even younger after Martinez's arrest) and young receivers. We could get to 8-4, if everything goes well, but I expect us to lose something along the lines of: NU, A&M, UT, Tech, & OU. If everything goes well, we could win either A&M, NU, or OU (I don't think K-State is a toss-up unless another miracle happens).

Arthur, what is so impressive about Nebraska? Their offense stunk last year and more than likely won't be much better this year. They lost a lot on defense (not just Suh) as well. I think this is closer to a win than you think. Martinez's arrest means nothing but a lot of laps up and down the stadium stairs.

Also, granted we haven't won in Lubbock in some 40 years but this T-Tech will be a completely different team than what we've played in the past. Brand new coaches and coaching philosophies. Both their offensive and defensive schemes are changing dramatically. Being their first year, I'd say that game is a toss up at this point.

Mike, we?

We who?

That's ok, everyone thinks the OU/OSU game is going to be close and then it ends up going on sided with OU winning. What I really like is when the OSU fans sit there and tell the OU fans how they are going to kill OU and can't wait to see Bob Stoops sobbing all the way to the locker room.

Face it OSU fans, you guys are a good team. I do root for you guys but you guys probably won't put OU away for a very long time. I know picker, OU is loosing people. WEll, they lost people last season and look what they did to OSU. OSU can argue Dez Bryant. That's ok. OU can argue almost half the team and OU still beat a very good Stanford team(then again, they were one dementional). OU may loose people, but they also reload. The recruiting class this year looks good too. Can't really say much about OSU's. Although I think Deaton can lead that team when it's his time. That, I'd like to see.

Also, how can you say the A&M game will be close. It doesn't matter how good A&M is, for some reason OU ends up killing this team.

Missouri game a toss up? Talk about a team that's getting gutted as we speak. No toss up, OU will beat this team.

I look for OU to do 10-2 at the very worse. With Texas loosing people(yes, I know they reload too) I think OU has a better shot. Be a good game I think.

Aww Pick, now your childish side is really showing. "We who?" Is that your best dig? I'm sorry that you cannot perform simple 3rd grade math. Maybe I and others should have taken the higher road and avoided hurting your feelings. With that said, I used "we" as a representation of OSU. I did not play football. But I did attend and graduate. If it makes you feel better, I will say "OSU" instead--although I'm fairly sure everyone knew what I meant. Meanwhile, you grasp at the straws when you should really be practicing how to count to twelve.
