Big Yeast

Guess what story you're not seeing on ESPN?

That's right, the full and outright collapse of the Big East conference in the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

It is possibly the most complete flop in collegiate sports history.

After months and months of ESPN slobbering over Uconn and Louisville and Syracuse and Pitt and all the rest -- get ready for an All Big East Final Four -- nothing is left but another embarrassing ESPN performance, and the shame of the Big Yeast fermenting in broad daylight.

This is brawl ball, period.

In more basketball news, it is time to bid a fond adieu to the OU women's program. Good thing it didn't beat Louisville. It would have lost to Uconn 100-50. The run was fun enough while it lasted. But it has been apparent to objective viewers that the OU team lacked quickness and shooting skills, two pretty important ingredients when it comes to hoops.

Also the floor should be raised and a smaller basket should be used.

In more hoop news, you have to hand it to Bill Self of KU.

This man is the collegiate sports PR genius of all-time history.

This year, he was named Coach of the Year for absolutely, positively, well, nothing.

KU was good, not great.

It is supposed to always be at the very least good.

In still more hoop news, TU coach Wojo just became a much better coach without even coaching a lick, by virtue of his close relationship with the Mich State boss.

Congrats coach Wojo. How about raising a nice Izzo banner in the TU gym.

Hey kids, real quickly, flip back to the blog titled Boring and look at the two picks for Saturday's NCAA's game.

Thank you very much.

Now.

Where were we?

It used to be fun to watch ESPN......now they just talk too much..........way too much. You know, too much, talk. Blah..........

Let's see, Picker took slams at Bill Self, at OU women's basketball, ESPN, an entire athletic conference and a sarcastic "high four" to the TU coach. He comes back to remind us of two pretty predictable picks. Too bad there isn't some injured athlete lying around so Picker could toss some salt or vinegar on an open wound.

First you said the Big East was worthless, then you praised them in a blog two days later, and now they're back under your bus...keep dancing Pick. You could be one of the Sports Animal guys in a heartbeat...

Bong ball? Come on Vern, go check your traps, nobody cares about those test-tube babies until the human growth hormones kick in next winter. World Series winner? You never thank me profusely for all the winners of the past, why should I guarantee the Yankees this early?

This gossip just in: Blake Griffin might not be the first NBA pick! The Uconn giant may be the one.
