Bill Self Is theCoach of Last Year

Why don't they wait until the tournament is over before picking all-star teams and coaches?

The tournament gets the automatic bid and is therefore more important than the regular season.

You don't lose to Baylor in the tournament and win coach of the year.

The Kansas games are on a local radio station.

Here's a good question: Why?

This isn't Kansas, Dorothy.

PS: The KU radio announcers are among the worst ever. According to them, KU seldom fouls and is frequently hacked unmercifully. These yahoos make Bob Barry seem objective and precise.

Here's hoping "competitiveness" exhibited by Big 12 teams in tourney will mean one fewer goes to the "dance" giving teams like TU a chance to get in.

hard to imagine announcers could whine more than bruce howard.

Picker,

Thoughts on TU's Wheatley's suspension?

I think the head of officials must be a UAB fan.

So if Self leads Kansas farther into the NCAA tournament than any other Big 12 team advances does he deserve it despite the loss to Baylor?

Out Pick The Picker

The Picker began entertaining – and infuriating – sports fans in 1993. Each week during football season, he writes about his picks of college and NFL games in his Thursday Sports column. He's never afraid of sharing his opinions about the game and the personalities who play it. Readers have a chance to go against him each season in the Outpick the Picker contest. He welcomes the competition.
