Bowl Position Still up for Grabs

Oklahoma will land in a BCS bowl, believed to be the Fiesta, is the Sooners can navigate safely through the remaining games at West Virginia, Oklahoma State and at TCU.
The Sooners are joined by OSU and Tulsa in what remains an important few weeks to get in the best possible bowl position.
All three state schools will be going to bowls.
Exactly where and against whom is still up in the air because there are still quite a few possibilities.
However, OU would almost assuredly reach the Fiesta Bowl if the Sooners win out. That could earn them a spot against a Southeastern Conference team, like LSU or Texas A&M.
Oklahoma State seems on track to reach the Alamo Bowl if it wins at least two of its last three. That opponent would likely be USC or Stanford.
And, Tulsa could wind up in a variety of bowl but winning Conference USA, a likely scenario at this point, would probably put the Golden Hurricane in the Liberty Bowl against an SEC team - some believe it would be Missouri.
If all of those things happen, it would be a fabulous bowl season for all three teams.
Those are all good matchups and provides the three state teams a good opportunity for a high-quality victory to close the season.
Yet, to get attractive bowl games all three must avoid a stumble in the final three weeks.

Well, we know one of them will stumble, with OU and OSU still to play.

You must be an ou homer! No mention that if OSU runs the table - they get the Fiesta Bowl. Both, however, depend on KSU running the table - again no mention - if KSU falls, they get the Fiesta.

Lots of ifs. I am not sure OU will get past OSU at this point. OSU can run the table too, ya know. Hope it's OU, but have to keep an open mind.

I wouldn't get too excited if I was OU about going to the Fiesta Bowl to play LSU or Texas A&M. Neither one of those teams would be a good matchup for the Sooners this year.
