Byron Wouldn't Let OSU Lose

It was just the kind of game Oklahoma State has been losing down the stretch of the last three seasons.
On Tuesday night, Byron Eaton wouldn't let the Cowboys lose again.
As a result, OSU would appear close to ending a three-year NCAA Tournament drought.
Eaton was great in the final four minutes, hitting free throws and handling Kansas State's pressure, in a 77-71 victory.
If you look back to the past several years, this was the kind of game OSU has lost to end all hope of the NCAAs.
This time OSU handled the pressure down the stretch. When Kansas State tied the game with about four minutes to go, it was Eaton who took control and put the Cowboys on his back.
Eaton got some help from James Anderson and Obi Muonelo, who hit huge three-point shots.
But, on senior night, Eaton wouldn't let OSU lose.
As a result, the Cowboys are now on the verge of getting back in the big dance after sitting on the sidelines the past three years.
