Can the Coaches

And now it's time for the weekend news in review.

Tennis great Roger Frauderer is not the greatest now to say nothing of the greatest ever. Compared to his classic forehand, his backhand is lame. Nadal and others have learned to work it over.

Should an intervention group be hired to rush in and drag coach Nolan from the Shock? Probably not. The Shock appears to be a tad better. At this rate it could reach .500 by 2020, the year of great vision.

The NBA series should go seven games with the Heat on top, as predicted here. Lebron has showed up somewhat chicken and has deferred to Wade, far and away the better player. Sunday, Kidd didn't play like one, played like a senior instead.

Has there ever been a hotter-looking setting than the softball park in OKC? Talk about a flat inferno. Slap-dash hitters like OU's first two, they look like they're swatting flies, have little value.

Regarding baseball, OU and OSU stink. OSU is but a shadow of its former great self. And OU is horribly coached. The ORU guy is better than both of them, combined. Lousy is one thing. Embarrassing is intolerable.

Right on the money on this one Picker...but then no one here in Soonerland ever wanted Golloway to begin with. Take a survey of 100 baseball people who actually know about and are involved in the sport and you'll be hard-pressed to find one positive statement. He'll be the first to show up at FCA... doesnt really jive with his profanity laced tirade and subsequent ejection in their SECOND loss to mighty KState in the Big 12 tourney...but at least they had a good showing in the Ft Worth regional...

Shut out by ORU, get him out of here.

Did anybody watch the Shock?

Tonight it looks like Dallas.

LaffALot (last year)
Nadal has maybe 2 more years left before he becomes Federized too.

Anybody really Shocked about the Shock?
What’s shocking is that there are people that
actually “care” about the Shock

Boston set the trend, now Miami has its threesome.
U thunk them ‘Blunders might be looking @ wheeling
& dealing a Westbrook for a Chris Paul or
a block buster trade to acquire Dwight Howard?

Too bad the TU doesn’t field a college b-ball team

Out Pick The Picker

The Picker began entertaining – and infuriating – sports fans in 1993. Each week during football season, he writes about his picks of college and NFL games in his Thursday Sports column. He's never afraid of sharing his opinions about the game and the personalities who play it. Readers have a chance to go against him each season in the Outpick the Picker contest. He welcomes the competition.
