Celtics Know How to Win Title

Boston is in the NBA finals, probably as the underdog, but the Celtics, specifically the current Celtics, know how to win a title.
Boston has already won two series' most thought they would not win.
Beating Cleveland and Orlando were upsets but now the Celtics should no longer be considered a longshot.
Boston is just a couple of years removed from its last title and has pretty much the same team.
When the Celtics finally got healthy, they got going. Don't count them out. They may actually be the team to beat.

I think that's a strange sentiment ... I mean, don't the Lakers have much more experience winning titles? Phil and Kobe combined have 14 by themselves ... not counting Fisher or any of the other players. If there's an edge in this department, I think it belongs to Los Angeles.

I love it! The Celts are being overlooked AGAIN! The bottomline is that nobody is playing as good as a team as the C's are right now. As Doc has mentioned before, this starting 5 has never lost a playoff series. Add in the fact that in virtually every playoff game so far, they have had fairly significant contributions from at least one member of the bench - Sheed, Tony Allen, Big Baby Davis, Nate Robinson - and I feel pretty good as a C's fan. Not to mention that they have NO answer for Rajon Rondo, as evidenced by their 2 regular season games this year and as well as several of the games in the 2008 Finals. Oh yeah, and let's not forget that the C's play something that the Lakers have not contended with in the Western Conference playoffs - a DEFENSE. Odds of them averaging over 100 points in this series are slim to none. Ask Orlando.

Using the number of titles that Kobe and Phil have is certainly not telling the whole story. Phil had 6 of those with the greatest player of all time and one of the best "second men" of all time. Kobe won all but one of those playing Pippen to Shaq's Jordan (bad comparison, I know, but all I could come up with). And again, Kobe very well may not have won that one had KG not been out for the playoffs last year.

Repeat of 2008; C's in 6.
