Charlie Moore Breaks Out for OSU

The past two spring a receiver emerged during spring practice for Oklahoma State.
The Cowboys can only hope that Charlie Moore will be as good as the last two stars to emerge in the spring.
Moore was the big hit of the OSU spring game when he made nine catches for 243 yards and three touchdowns.
He made at least two catches worthy of the highlight reel.
Does it mean anything to have a big day in the spring game?
“You bet it does,” said OSU coach Mike Gundy. “Even though its an orange and gray game and your teams are split and I’m blowing a whistle and it’s not a real game, there’s still competition out there,” said Gundy. “Players compete and the guys that really want to make play.
“They don’t care what the situation is. They go out and play the game.”
Gundy pointed out that Justin Blackmon, who will be a first round pick in the upcoming NFL draft, had his coming out party during spring practice two years ago.
Then, Tracy Moore, who emerged as a playmaker this past season, had a break out spring a year ago.
So, it is not out of the question that Charlie Moore will make a name for himself next fall.
Now, if one name will emerge at quarterback then OSU has a chance to surprise a lot of people next fall.
