Coach K Joins the Best

Mike Krzyzewski was already considered one of the greatest coaches in the history of college basketball.
He is considered by many the most successful of this generation of coaches.
Monday night just solidified his spot among the very elite of college basketball coaches.
He won his fourth national championship when Duke edged Butler for the national title.
Only UCLA's John Wooden has more national titles as a coach.
Fans love to hate Duke. But, you have to respect what coach K has done with the Blue Devils.

If being a "greatest ever" coach means recruiting good players he certainly qualifies. If coaching mediocre or merely good players to a couple of seet sixteens then he isn't. We'll never know since the Duke program just has to exist to get every great player it wants. J. D. Barnett or Buzz Peterson could probably get to the Sweet Sixteen with Duke's players. Duke doesn't go every year and I think the great Coach K is what, 3-2 in Championship games in 25 years?
