Coaching Changes Conference USA

The only thing more uncertain than the membership in Conference USA is who is coaching football in C-USA.
Three Conference USA are rumored to be on the move to bigger conferences.
Larry Fedora of Southern Miss is on his way to North Carolina, hired away new North Carolina athletic director Bubba Cunningham (formerly of Tulsa).
SMU’s June Jones is close to heading to Arizona State and Kevin Sumlin is rumored to be on his way to Texas A&M.
That says plenty about Conference USA.
Plenty of folks believe the football is good enough, and the coaching is at such a high level, that they believe those C-USA can win in the ACC, Pac-12 and SEC.
Texas A&M’s coaching job may be the most challenging. The Aggies, 6-6, are headed to the Southeastern Conference West Division next fall. Three of the top six teams in the current BCS standings are in the SEC West (No. 1 LSU, No. 2 Alabama and No. 6 Arkansas).
Arizona State has long been considered a sleeping giant in the Pac-12, located in a rich recruiting area with a lot of resources.
And, North Carolina may be a basketball school but Mack Brown and Butch Davis both won a lot of games with the Tar Heels.
The coaching changes will further change the landscape of Conference USA next year.
