Cold Pizza? Getting colder...

ESPN's "Cold Pizza" just got a lot colder for Oklahoma football fans.
Host Jay Crawford, a likeable personality and an otherwise knowledgeable host, pitched an upcoming piece with the following glaring error:
"He stayed an extra season in college, with hopes of winning a national championship. Adrian Peterson. That's a plan that didn't work out. Does he have any regrets? We'll ask him."
Crawford then compounded his own error (and apparently no one in the studio was willing or able to correct him) during the interview with Peterson when he asked if Peterson had any regrets for coming back to OU for the chance to win the national championship.
Crawford also fumbled through a mention of "the Rhett Bomar controversy" before repeating, "any regrets?"
Peterson, maybe a bit stunned by the lack of research performed by the Worldwide Leader in Sports, replied, "any regrets?" He then calmly navigated his way through an answer that included praise for the OU coaching staff, specifically his position coach, Cale Gundy, and his enjoyment in "just being around the guys."
I hate to harp on someone else's errors. I know how those shoes fit.
But if you're going to invite a top-five NFL draft pick to come to your studio and promote that interview near the top of your program, you probably ought to be aware that Peterson did not stay an extra season in college. In fact, he didn't even stay for his senior season.
This pizza could use a microwave.
