Conditions should be ideal for Nebraska-OSU

The National Weather Service reports that there is a 40 percent chance of rain on Thursday night in Stillwater. On Friday, the rain probability is 70 percent.
But on Saturday, when 17th-ranked Oklahoma State hosts No. 14 Nebraska for a 2:30 p.m., ABC-televised Big 12 football game, the forecast is positive. According to the National Weather Service website, Stillwater’s Saturday afternoon should be “mostly sunny, with a high near 80.”
And even if Stillwater is soaked with rain on Friday, it should not have an effect on the Boone Pickens Stadium playing surface. A state-of-the-art drainage system will result in a dry, fast turf, OSU coach Mike Gundy says.
