Counting down to draft day with Duke

I wrote about Phil Loadholt's NFL draft prospects recently. Let's see what's up with his partner on the left side of Oklahoma's offensive line the last couple years...
Pro Football Weekly has Duke Robinson as a "second-to-third-round talent," which is interesting considering Robinson was a fringe end-of-first-round guy at one time.
"A big, strong roadgrader who showed up at the Combine in better shape than scouts anticipated, but he must show that he will continue to work after a big payday," PFW's Nolan Nawrocki wrote. "Is so massive that he can win matchups with his size, but could be challenged by quickness and zone pressure. Should be able to contribute readily."
According to FalconInsider.com, the Rams, Browns, Steelers, Dolphins and Falcons have either worked out or are interested in Robinson. The coolest quote Robinson gave the Web site's Doug Farrar was about blocking for Adrian Peterson:
"It was phenomenal, man. I had the juice already, but when I knew he was getting the ball, and coming my way or I was pulling up front -- he'd grab me by the facemask and tell me to smoke it (waste the defender)."
"Waste the defender" is Farrar's explanation of "smoke it," by the way, not mine. Although I wish it was mine. That's too much.
Finally, Robinson joined ESPN.com for an online chat the other week. My favorite exchange follows...
Steiny (NYC): "What part of your game do you think you need to improve on the most?"
Robinson: "I would say I need to work on my technique. I get in trouble because I just want to go out and kill that guy that I'm blocking."
