Cowboys Get It Done on Road

For the second straight year, Oklahoma State faced a critical road game without its most explosive player.
It survived to win at Texas A&M last year after it was announced Dez Bryant would be suspended for the rest of the season.
It survived on Saturday at Kansas State after it was announced Justin Blackmon would be suspended for one game.
OSU coach Mike Gundy would probably like to avoid any more road tests after the suspension of a high-profile player.
But the Cowboys once again survived an important road game thanks to some unlikely heroes.
Defense and special teams saved the day for OSU against Kansas State. The defense had three interceptions, including the game-clincher, an interception return for a TD midway through the fourth quarter. Plus, punter Quinn Sharp knocked four punts inside the KSU 9.
As a result, the Cowboys still have some big goals ahead of them with a 7-1 record entering November.
Few would have guessed OSU would still be in the BCS bowl hunt in November.
