Dayton? Boise? Definitely Tulsa

There are NCAA Tournament first and second round games at Boise and Dayton this week.
Tulsa should be in the mix.
Tulsa has one of the best arenas in the country, including many of the NBA cities. It has a convenient location and great airline service.
Ever try to get to Dayton or Boise? Not easy. Let me assure you.
So, don't buy what some local Tulsa officials are trying to tell you about the NCAA. Tulsa does not have to prove anything to the NCAA before it gets to host some NCAA Tournament.
Any arena, any city, that can host a Billy Joel-Elton John concert and then three weeks later a Bruce Springsteen concert, is big enough for the NCAAs.
Regardless of how the Conference USA does in Tulsa, the city should be pushing for the NCAA Tournament.
Just getting here, compared with Dayton and Iowa City, would make Tulsa a slam dunk for future NCAA men's and women's tournaments.
