Deal: We'll let Linus win if you stop calling us cheaters
Published: 7/16/2007 10:44 AM

I'm hoping Linus Gerdemann (who named him, Charles Schultz?) wins the Tour de France.
Want to know why?
Because he's not American.
I like Americans. I'm one of them. But I'm getting weary of Americans being called cheaters. Every time an American wins the Tour de France, the triumph is followed immediately by allegations of foul play.
Enough already.
I'm tired of being the ugly Americans, and no jokes about my mug shot, please.
For the sake of global getting-along, let's lose a bicycle race so some other country can feel good about itself.
And if they keep saying bad things about us, we'll send red-white-and-blue clad Evel Knievel over there on his motorcycle to jump over all their bicycles.

Its not just the Americans cheating, its all of them. Its a sport full of cheating, and America happens to be the best at it.

Well i like to see the American
cyclist win the Tour de France over and over again. Just like David Becham if the athlete is good. United States will have them play for a America team. So the athlete from another country will teach the Americans his style and we will learn to perfect it. Bul-yah :)
