Defining Week for ORU, OSU

Oral Roberts and Oklahoma State face a huge week in defining what kind of season they will have as the Golden Eagles and Coiwboys face games with NCAA ramifications.
For ORU, it is all about positioning itself for the best posssible chance in the Summit League Tournament. Winning twice this week would get the Eagtles into a bye opening round and solidify them as one of the two teams to beat.
ORU would appear as good of a bet as any team in the Summit. However, to give itself the best chance possible, two victories would give the Eagles a huge boost in the seedings and confidence.
Oklahoma State by winning twice this week would put itself in the drivers seat to be one of the mid-pack picks from the Big 12.
Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Texas are the obvious choices for the NCAA out of the Big 12. But, OSU could make itself the solid pick at No. 5 by winning twice - that would include a road victory at Colorado (never easy) and at home with Texas.
Those will not be easy but if you want to play in the NCAA Tournament you have to do a few special things.
So, with the clock ticking down to March next week, at least two teams have a lot of work to do this week.
