Dez up but Cowboys Down and Out
Published: 10/26/2010 9:07 AM

Dez Bryant showed why he might have been the steal of last spring's NFL draft on the same night his team, the Dallas Cowboys, finally collapsed.
Bryant's rookie-of-the-year campaign is in full swing.
The Dallas dream season is dead.
Bryant caught a couple of TD passes and returned a punt 93 yards for another TD.
At the same time, the Cowboys dropped to 1-5 after a Monday night loss to the New York Giants.
Even worse, Dallas quarterback Tony Romo suffered an injury likely to keep him out for at least two months.
Thus, the dream of the Cowboys to reach the Super Bowl at their own stadium is done.
The Cowboys have tons of talent, according to the experts, but they haven't played like it all season.
Now, Dallas joins Minnesota as the NFL's most disappointed teams with quarterback issues.
