For the longest time, we have wondered what, if anything, Dickie V, Dick Vitale, really knew about basketball.

The answer is in.

He knows how to talk a lot, but pick little.

In the ESPN NCAA bracket contest, Vitale landed in the 14th percentile of entries: Dickie XIV. How low is that? Aunt Gussie and Uncle Fathead finished in the 16th percentile.

We turned in one bracket and are in the 95th percentile.

There's only one way to measure an analyst's worth. That is by his or her picking skills.

Another ESPN charade has been exposed.

We'll give you some final four picks soon. All the jokers are on Kentucky. We lean to KU over the Big Ten team.

Dickie V brings nothing to the game. It still infuriates me that he was inducted into the hall of fame before Eddie Sutton, a REAL coach with over 800 wins, was added.

Dukie V is your typical loudmouth. He would be very popular on some of the "news" shows too. He may not know what he is talking about, but he can say it loudly and often enough for someone to believe him.

I'm guessing he picked Duke to win it all and was toast when they lost.

Does he announce any games that don't involve Duke?
