Different brand of Marshall law?

Marshall Moses is no snitch.

That’s what the Oklahoma State basketball player says in a story the school’s student newspaper (The Daily O’Collegian) published Thursday.

Here’s the deal:

Moses was arrested on a marijuana complaint in January and, about an hour later, police arrested a 23-year-old female student, Geneva Trehus, on weed-related charges -- including possession with intent to distribute.

According to the O’Colly, the same police officer made both arrests. So, some people put two and two together and determined that perhaps Moses ratted out a supplier.

But Moses said in a text message to a reporter that he didn’t tell on anybody.

“People make up stuff, but that’s what people do,” he said in a text message that the O’Colly included in its story. “The cops never asked, and regardless of what anyone says, thinks or how it appears, da number one rule in life is neeeeever tell!”

According to the story, Trehus is no longer at OSU because she was expelled for refusing to attend substance abuse counseling. It doesn’t sound like she wants to be counseled. “The only thing I do is smoke weed. I don’t drink. I don’t even take Advil,” she said in the story.

Moses will face the music when his court date arrives May 17. Speaking of music, it’s apparently part of Trehus’ daily routine. The O’Colly story said she moved to Denver and works as an exotic dancer so she can afford legal expenses.

Coincidence on the close timing of her arrest....hmmmm - doubt it. However it does sound like she is better of in Colorado- according to the O'Colly article she is now a professional adult entertainer. Clearly since we are a right to work state, Colorado is the place she ought to ply her trade. ;)

Many college kids smoke pot.

Many professional people (doctors, lawyers, judges, CEOs) smoke pot, too.

As soon as it'd decriminalized (much like liquor after prohibition), sold in controlled areas and taxed (just like alcohol) as is the trend, then the nation and it's national media campaign will soften it's public stance.

Then this will all be as big as an underaged college kid drinking beer. OMG!!

Plus, the "no tell" attitude isn't confinded to the black community.
Most kids that do smoke weed or drink underage don't reveal their sources unless they're trying to save their own keister.
