Duke in the doghouse

Oklahoma's offensive line, coming off its first subpar effort of the season against TCU, has something to prove Saturday at Baylor. It will be particularly interesting to see how Duke Robinson responds.
The left guard missed all but the final play of the first quarter against the Horned Frogs, giving way to Brian Simmons at the start of the game and then Branndon Braxton when Simmons rested during OU's third series.
Bob Stoops termed Robinson's first-quarter absence "disciplinary" Tuesday. Offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson said the Sooners wanted to reward Simmons and mentioned Robinson has been "dinged" of late.
Whatever issues he has faced, Robinson will want to do better than starting half his team's games from here on out (Simmons started for him in the 2008 opener against Chattanoga as well). OU needs his presence, particularly in the run game. And besides, it's not the kind of example a first-team All-American wants to set.
