Tom Brahaney, who snapped the football to Jack Mildren during the 1971 Oklahoma-Nebraska "Game of the Century" -- and who was selected All-America in 1971 and '72 -- was among 12 players and two coaches inducted Wednesday into the College Football Hall of Fame.
Brahaney in '71 helped the Sooners lead the nation in rushing, scoring and total offense.
He's the 18th Sooner player inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. OU also has five former coaches in the hall.
Former Sooner quarterback Troy Aikman, former Oklahoma State running back Thurman Thomas and former University of Tulsa head coach John Cooper were finalists in this year's class but did not make the final cut.
