Fire Dallas

Jerry Jones should be the first to go. He owns the team and hired himself. Trouble is, he knows little about football and keeps hiring the wrong people.
An intervention is called for. The state of Texas should intervene and draft legislation that mandates that coach Jerry hire a real GM.

Fire the coach. He's terrible. You can't call offensive plays and run a football team at the same time.

Fire Tony Turnover, the quarterback. Nobody can figure out what's wrong with this guy. We can. It's simple. He has no arm. Passes don't get where they need to be with any zip. He throws mush-ball rainbows.

Fire Ryan the defensive coach, who couldn't stop tricycle traffic.

Dallas fans seem to fear change. What if the replacements are worse? Excuse us, but what could be worst then missing the playoffs every year?

The weekend games look great.

Check the picks Thursday for another round of astounding predictions.

Fire who?

Fire all of Dallas.

Dallas Cowboys are kind of the Chicago Cubs of the NFL...The Cubs have the curse of the billy goat, and after the unceremonious way the Cowboys
dumped Tom Landry years ago...they now have the curse of Tom Landry upon them...the curse will continue until Tom Landry is appeased and done with them.

Mr. Domo: The Cowboys won several championships after firing Landry. I don't think the comparison with the Cubbies works in this case. Sorry, but just an observation. The "Picker" is right on this one. Jones, Garrett, and most of all, Tony Turnover need to go! The problem is Coach Jerry owns the team, so everything else will stay the same. I use to be a Dallas fan, but those days are over!

I was a Dallas Cowboys fan for years...up until they dumped Tom Landry. Yes they have won, but more often they have lost and lost big...

Love to Hate the Cowboys!!!!

I LIKE the Landry curse idea! All they have to do is appease the spirit of Landry and Romo's arm will be set FREE!!!

Only thing that would've topped off last sundays game with the redskins, if One of the NBC announcers had sang "Turn out the lights, the parties over"! I used to cry when I was a child, when Dallas lost, but that was the Tex Schramm, Tom Landry days, still cry a lil bit, when Tulsa loses a game.

Out Pick The Picker

The Picker began entertaining – and infuriating – sports fans in 1993. Each week during football season, he writes about his picks of college and NFL games in his Thursday Sports column. He's never afraid of sharing his opinions about the game and the personalities who play it. Readers have a chance to go against him each season in the Outpick the Picker contest. He welcomes the competition.
