Ford Has OSU Surging Again

Travis Ford did a fantastic job in his first season at Oklahoma State when he rallied the Cowboys at the end of the season to reach the NCAA Tournament.
Ford is at it again.
A team that had lost its point guard at a critical point in the season, is now starting to come together at just the perfect time.
As a result, OSU again looks like a good bet to reach the NCAA Tournament.
If so, Ford deserves plenty of attention for coach-of-the-year in the Big 12 Conference.
Kansas' Bill Self should win the coach honor but Ford should certainly get some mention.
For the second straight year, he has gotten his Cowboys to overcome adversity and peak at the perfect time.
The victory over Baylor was OSU's fourth over a team with an RPI in the top 20.
That should be enough to get it in the NCAAs but don't be surprised if OSU continues to surprise.

I will admit that I was one of the skeptics when Holder hired Travis Ford, but I must say both of them have earned their paychecks the last two years.
