Fresh faces to watch

Talked with Bobby Reid the other day and to say the Oklahoma State junior quarterback is excited about the upcoming season is along the same lines that a certain degree of venom exists between Bedlam fans.
Heck yeah, Reid is pumped about this fall. Why wouldn't he be? Reid has a bevy of talented players around him coming back to make this a standout year for him and the Cowboys.
When I asked Reid which of his offensive teammates have caught his eye during those "voluntary" workouts this month, he didn't mention the expected the names of Adarius Bowman, Dantrell Savage or Brandon Pettigrew. Reid instead dropped names of two incoming freshmen receivers, Dez Bryant and Damian Davis.
"You watch. Those two will have a big part in our offense," Reid said. "You just watch."
Bobby, I promise, I will be watching.

No doubt, BR will be ready to roll this season. He gets his biggest "collegiate" test, Sept.1 in Athens. It doesn't get any more intimidating then "between the hedges" in front of 90k screaming SEC loving Bulldog fans.
Contrary to some Poke fans not happy about this game, I LOVE IT. Bring it on, I say!!! Getting a program to be nationally respected (West Coast media drive me nuts, constantly wanting to talk about USC & UCLA) & certainly turning heads in the "cut-throat" Big 12, takes the guts of going into the house of a tradition rich SEC program & attempting to pull off an upset. (Although I'm very reluctant to say this would be an upset, given a win.) OSU has some very talented players & weapons. (Reid's potential is HUGE given his size)
It will be nice to see how A. Woods (receiver) picks up slack for Bowman, who will certainly be double covered in almost every game he suits up for. Pettigrew, in my opinion, may be the best "catching" TE in the country. If the Cowboys establish a "threat" run game with Savage & Toston, this could be the most prolific offense since 88'.
I know the incoming Fresh are extremely talented, but I'll wait to read in the Tulsa World online, about what Coach Gundy & staff say, once they report & the practice begins.....

Cannot wait......
