Jack Frost is apparently not a sports fan: Because of weather-related travel difficulties, Oklahoma State wasn't able to travel to Nebraska for a Saturday basketball game.
The Cowboys tried repeatedly to get to Lincoln, but were unable to do so.
I arrived in Lincoln before the weather got bad. It was colder than a witch's wart in Lincoln, but the roads were completely dry until Saturday, when a light dusting of snow fell.
The drive back was easier than I expected, snapping just over nine hours with minimal ice on roads until Joplin.
P.S.: This was not the best trip to forget your coat, which I did. I'm didn't buy another because anyone goofy enough to forget their coat deserves to be punished, although Aunt Elaine from Verdigris suggested that I go to the hotel lobby and pick out a coat from lost and found. Smart gal.
