A novel, and welcome, approach to high school basketball player rankings thanks to SLAM, the magazine/website which waited until just now to compile a final national top-75 list. This way, everyone's season is complete, and players have the added opportunity to impress one last time on the AAU and postseason all-star circuits before reporting to college.
Two soon-to-be Oklahoma Sooners made the cut -- Keith "Tiny" Gallon, checking in at No. 8, and Tommy Mason-Griffin, who closed at No. 33.
Of Gallon, SLAM's Aggrey Sam writes: "'Tiny' isn’t Blake Griffin, but Jeff Capel could have done a whole lot worse in replacing the National Player of the Year."
Of Mason-Griffin: "This stocky floor general’s job will be made a lot easier with the return of future backcourt mate Willie Warren."
