Getting Rid of Buschwackers

It is time for NASCAR to get rid of Nextel Cup drivers dropping down and driving in Busch races.
The Busch series is designed to be a farm system for the Cup series.
Instead, regulars on the Cup series are dropping down and driving on Busch races. In fact, more than a dozen were regulars on both the Cup and Busch series this year. For the second straight year, one of the top drivers in Cup (Carl Edwards) won the Busch series season points title. Last year it was Kevin Harvick.
Some say the Busch series needs those high-profile drivers to sell tickets to the Busch races.
That's not true. At most tracks, to get a good ticket to the Cup race who have to also buiy tickets to the Saturday Busch races.
So, get rid of the big time drivers in Cup.
Nextel Cup needs a developmental league and that's Busch.

Maybe not to sell tickets, but to maintain attendance and interest. I agree with you in theory, but am dubious of the resulting product...and NASCAR's ability to sell it to sponsors and to the folks at ESPN or SPEED.
